Frequently Asked Questions
These days, I focus on my role as a Director and DP, and frequently collaborate with teams that fit the size and scope of the project. This way, the story is given the time, resources, and people it deserves.
I’m a Director and Director of Photography (DP) based in Tennessee. I specialize in docu-style filmmaking that captures authentic, people-centered stories for nonprofits, brands, and narrative projects. After nearly a decade in the industry, I’ve found that the heart of my work is blending intentional storytelling with simple yet beautiful visuals.
I take time to really understand the people and stories I’m telling in the creative development. My process is rooted in integrity and connection, which means I focus on making people feel comfortable and respected in front of the camera. I love including participants in the process as much as possible, and I approach every project with intention and care — no hype reels, shortcuts, or flashy visuals, just storytelling that feels true.
I’ve been fortunate to work with a wide range of clients — from grassroots nonprofits to global brands like Fujifilm, Bloomberg Digital, the Fetzer Institute, and 60 Second Docs. My projects range from branded storytelling pieces to poetry narrative shorts. No matter the scale, I approach each project with the same care and attention to detail.
